This policy explains when an order placed on LetItRip can be cancelled, who can cancel it, and what happens to any payment already made. It sits alongside our Refund Policy, which covers money returned after a cancellation or return.
You can cancel an order yourself from Your Orders at any point before the seller marks it as dispatched. The exact window is shown on the order itself, because it depends on how quickly that seller ships. Once an order has been dispatched it can no longer be cancelled — it becomes a return instead, under the Refund Policy.
We may cancel an order and refund it in full when the item turns out to be unavailable, when payment cannot be verified, when the delivery address is outside a serviceable area, or where we have reason to believe the order is fraudulent. If we cancel an order you will be told why, on the order and by email.
Orders awaiting a manual payment (bank transfer or UPI) are held for a limited window shown on the order. If no payment is received and verified within that window the order is cancelled automatically and the stock is released.
A winning auction bid is a commitment to buy and cannot be cancelled by the buyer; failing to pay within the stated window forfeits the win. Pre-orders can be cancelled before the item ships unless the listing states otherwise — some pre-orders are explicitly non-cancellable, and that is shown on the listing before you order. Prize-draw entries cannot be cancelled once the draw has closed.
A cancelled order is refunded to the original payment method. Timelines, and how refunds work for partial cancellations, are set out in the Refund Policy.
